Board of Directors

The Board of Directors comprises four members including the independent Chairman, Mr Tore I. Sandvold. The Directors have extensive and diverse experience, particularly from the infrastructure and petroleum sectors.

Tore I. Sandvold
Tore has substantial experience in the oil and energy industry and has acted as advisor to companies and advisory bodies through his company, Sandvold Energy AS, since 2002. Tore was previously the Director-General of the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy and Executive Chairman of Petoro AS – the entity through which the Norwegian state holds its direct financial interests in the Norwegian continental shelf. Tore is currently also a member of the boards of Schlumberger (since 2004), Teekay Corporation (since 2003), Lambert Energy Advisory Ltd (since 2003), and Rowan Companies plc. (since 2013).

Paul Moy
Paul is Global Head of Infrastructure & Private Equity at UBS Asset Management. With more than 20 years of investment industry and infrastructure experience, Paul brings extensive principal investment, investment banking and advisory experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors. Paul is also Non-Executive Director of Southern Water (United Kingdom), Collgar Wind Farm (Australia) and the Cancer Institute (Australia).

Gautier Chatelus
Gautier is responsible for the energy and airports sectors within CDC where he is responsible for originating, analysing and executing investment opportunities and for the ongoing management of infrastructure investments. Previously, Gautier worked with TOTAL, where he held various positions from 2003 to 2009, most recently as TOTAL’s Vice-President for the United Arab Emirates. Gautier has significant experience in the public sector, including Head of the Energy Transport and Utilities department in the Direction de la Prévision of the French Ministry of Economy and Finance (2000-2002), Manager for the Trans-European Networks with the Ministry of Transportation (1998-1999) and the National Institute for Research on Transportation (1993-1998). Gautier holds engineering degrees from Ecole Polytechnique (Paris) and Ecole des Ponts et Chaussées (Paris) and a post-graduate diploma in economic analysis and policies from EHESS.
